Just as in Noah’s day, God has the people He needs watching and warning of a future that can end in disaster. We are to take God’s warning seriously, but we are a stubborn lot.
God tells us in Ezekiel that we are responsible for our choice if we know, but if God’s servant doesn’t tell the people the servant will be held responsible.
This is an awesome responsibility for the child of God. What is it Your would have me, Your servant Lord, do?
You tell me that I am to share your warning to others, saying: the Lord does not want anyone to die in their wickedness.
We have God’s assurance that we can turn away and find restitution because He is a just and fair God. We can blame God and say He is the problem: He will allow it. God says we will be judged as we judge Him.
Could I stand before Him in my sin and feel right?
Sadly, I think not.
