I have always thought the Beatitudes to be blessings, and they are, but when I just wrote it down what I saw was Be + Attitudes.
Wow!
They are the attitudes that bring blessing, if we be – if our attitudes are be-coming.
They are the things that God wants for us to be and the attitude that comes from us.
I asked the Lord this morning for healing in how to love, and His blessed love brought me here.
Poor in spirit. Hunger for righteousness, weeping and sorrowfulness. Scorned.
We all have our place with God, and these hurts are balmed by the hands of others as our balm is used for the pains of others.
The woe of security is money. Comforts and pleasures of the world apart from God.
From a God who needs us to love him.
Despite how the world treats us, we are to display His grace being generous in reciprocal, in kindness and pain.
This is what makes us different in God.
Give, teach, see good, be fruitful. Love from the heart.
