The trees are the sign of the changing season.

Lord, it seems as though there have been many season, may times where the tree has grown leaves that those watching don’t believe that one day the season of change will be the final one. Your assurance that we do not want to be caught unaware is enough to persevere. It’s enough for those that are called to remember, but how, Lord, how do we show those who are not listening, who do not care to think about the life beyond this tiny world we exist?

I, too, was one of those, living in the perverse pleasures of sin.

Luke warns us that the world will delight in what pleases the senses. We see it now in such great numbers.
