I asked, Lord, and You answered.
You are to be praised. We are to praise You.
From everywhere. All the time. In the mountains. In the valleys, we are to praise you.
The sun. The moon. The angels. The armies are to praise you.
Even the waters above the heavens, though they don’t know, are to praise you.
For He is praiseworthy.
As creator and maintainer. He is to be praised.
The earth and seas are His. The weather and trees are His.
The beasts of the land and seas, and yes, you and me.
We are all His, and we praise You.
Praise, praise, praise the name of Jesus.
Praise, praise, praise His name.
Your glory is ever majestic. And our praise is His reward.
Oh God, I asked, and You answered, why our lives are to be.
Your word has shown me clearly that we are to praise and to honor Thee.
Praise, praise, praise you, Lord. We bless and honor Thee.
