This morning’s prayers, the before feet hit the ground ones, were about freedom.
Financial freedom specifically.
How amazing that I am led to this place so appropriate.
David knew God was on his side. He knew it because he had seen him come through for him.
He knew there was one source of greatness.
I have also been blessed to see God’s hand in my life over and over again.
David lavished praise on our caretaker.
And I want to strengthen my praises.
God is beautiful.
He wants to provide us with beauty. Look at the wonderful world of nature he has provided. Here we see David go against the knowledge of his time, saying God doesn’t require the sacrifices of old to delight him. Instead, He wants our devotion, and with devotion comes obedience and recognition.
I am a Sinner, like all humans, and I need the Lord to save me – mostly from myself.
I can seek and find comfort in a God who is there for me whenever I need Him.
