I Wonder, Lord, if there were seekers of Messiah in non-Jews before your presence.
The Greeks wanted to meet you. Had they desired so before?
Maybe not, as You the Christ, seem to indicate that this was the beginning of the spread of Your love – the giving of your life.
Your death exalted You, provided as a way to eternal communion with You, and You put Satan in his place.
The more I give to You, the more I can be a witness to others.
Must I hate life to see You?
Your word says it must be so.
Perhaps it’s that as long as wee continue to love the world, we will not love Jesus. We will remain self-centered.
A Jesus centered life pleases Him.
Lord, help me to keep my eyes on You, as sometimes they roam elsewhere, looking for trouble unsuspecting.
