Dirge sets the tone for ominous activity.
It seems to fit the theme God has me set upon.
I’m currently obsessed with end-times movies. I looked for an end time study but didn’t find one that spoke to me, so I didn’t get one. There’s time. So, let’s find out what God has for
us today.
Pharaoh of Egypt thought highly of himself, but it wasn’t a true view.
He ruined everything, so God made him and Egypt the source of contention.
The things God had planned to do in Egypt are named in excruciating details, culminating into darkness.
Egypt is to be an example, a showcase for God’s rebuke. Others “will devastate the pride and presumption of Egypt”.
This is a dirge I feel worthy of the world today.
God warns of mass destruction: “hordes” killed and strewn about.
There is distinction between the dead heroes and the dead misanthropes.
So many dead; so many lost from so many places.
The Lord, who is worthy of our loyalty, expects, and demands our accolades.
Otherwise, there is no purpose for us.
