Job suffered – suffered more than I can imagine.
This seems to be a good start for this 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Job remained faithful to the God that can restore all that we lose.
God will recognize our sacrifices and loyalty.
The thing that amazed me about the end of Job’s story is that Job prayed for his friends!
This scripture says his fortunes were returned when he prayed for them.
It’s not about me only. This is the message time and time again in the Bible.
Job’s story ends as it began; showing his faithfulness and love for his family.
His family consoling him and dining with him, but they also gave him something to start his life again – a purpose. They helped him, and his blessing was greater than before, with more animals, sons and daughters – beautiful daughters who even got an inheritance.
And Job lived many, many years to enjoy them.
God is so good if we just trust Him.
