Godly Living. 1 Peter 3: 1 – 21

This is probably my hardest struggle in daily life.

I had lived so wrong for so long that I don’t know how to live a good godly life. But amazingly, I see the needle move a bit more and more toward Him and I’m delighted.

As I think seriously about remarriage. I know I want to be a good wife living a godly life.

I have always had to be the leader, but scripture tells us that it’s a man’s responsibility. I am to be modest and respectful, being beautiful inside, even more than outside.

What does that mean?

It means gentility and self-control, encouraging and submission. It doesn’t mean being a welcome mat, and it also means that he must be worthy of that respect and serenity.

A marriage requires a foundation for love, and as Christ is the center, so will the foundation be strong.

A failed marriage with sufficient time to reflect has provided perspective, and the love of God provides a desire for a holy union of three.
