We are given that which we can care for. God takes care of the rest.
Praise God for caring for my health, my livelihood, my happiness. It is I who must care for what he gives in contentment. I don’t always do that.
Paul knowing imprisonment, saw the chains that hold us to God.
He wouldn’t let go.
It is indeed a mystery, but Paul wants us to know how blessed we are to know of Christ and to know Him.
We all have this promise.
We are all the chosen through Jesus if we accept his conditions.
We will suffer. Sometimes this suffering lies only in battling worldly influences.
Sometimes it’s persecutions and God honors them.
We are to love and glorify Him in all situations. That is our stewardship.
And he is faithful.
We will know the fullness of his boundless love and peace, and others will see and wonder with desire for the same.
